What are some companies with good marketing strategies?

I have to do a presentation on a company with great marketing strategies, ie segmentation, product development, distribution, etc.
I wanted to do Apple but it was already taken, what are some others that would be a good example?

Think about companies that have been doing very well with their advertising efforts based on what you’ve seen…. Apple is certainly one of them. How about….
Geico – Although they’ve been launching a few interesting but funny campaigns at once (which usually isn’t the norm), they certainly have done very well.
Verizon – They’ve done very well within the past couple years.

Jack in the Box became a top seller in part because of their marketing campaign. According to their 2006 annual report, “Jack is revered for his food, as well as for his award-winning television commercials, which are a big reason why consumers rank Jack in the Box among the top QSR chains in unaided awareness.”
They take chances with their creativity and have built a solid, consistent brand.
